The Story of our civic partnership
On April 27, 2016, it wasn’t an organization that emerged—it was an idea that could no longer be held inside.
It was a time of urgent questions and a lack of honest answers. A country that had gone through revolutions, sacrifices and hopes for a European future, the country that kept running into the wall of a system where the law is not the same for everyone, where corruption destroys trust and where justice remains merely an idea.
We saw the power of the people—their ability to stand up for freedom, defend their land, and change the course of history.
At the same time, we saw tge evidence how these efforts are shattered by the old mechanisms of power.
The renunciation of nuclear weapons in exchange for international guarantees.
The annexation of the Crimea.
The war in Donbas.
The search for allies and support from the world combined with a sense of geopolitical uncertainty.
It was then that the central question arose:
What is Ukraine’s place in the new world, and what model of development can actually protect people, the law, and the future?
This was not a political manifesto—it was an invitation to reflect, an attempt to think more broadly and speak of a state where freedom, law, and dignity are a system, not mere slogans.
Thus, from an internal impulse—pain, hope and search—the story of the creation of our civil society.
The continuation of this ideological evolution can be found in our publications from 2019 and 2021. You can read and follow them on our Facebook page under the corresponding dates.
